His perspective for life was very different from others, and that made that person a motivating figure for others. And, yes we are talking about none other than “Swami Vivekanand Ji”. On 12 January 1863 Swami vivekananda took birth in india, and this day is celebrated as “National Youth day”.

Life And Philosophy Of Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda, a very wide and deep ocean of knowledge. His preaching were the one that made him unique and his thoughts were like getting a light in the darkness. His preaching had a life giving power to a person who has lost all the hopes from his life and therefore, most of the time we notice that the portrait of this idealistic person is always there in almost every school, college and government and private sectors.Although, Swami ji was also a normal human being like we are, but the workings, the thoughts of some person make them an idealistic figure for everyone, and therefore the intelligence of a person can never be measured by the usage of brain. It is the sum total of their capability to think and their work and, therefore one of the most prominent figure and a widely known Physicist “Albert Einstein” also, was capable of using 7-8% of his brain, where as the intelligence of this great personality i.e., “Swami Vivekanand ji” can be measured by the capability of using 13% of his total brain.

Although, Albert Einstein and Swami ji are of same period, but this is the extreme bad luck of our film industry that we are not capable of working on the life history of such great personalities, whose story can change the thinking of the world for the betterment. And, as the result of which, today, we know personalities like Albert Einstein the most, but we don’t know much about “Swami ji.” We just know him in portraits. Swami ji was also called by the name ‘Narren’ and he was just 16 years older than Albert Einstein.

From the childhood only, Narren was fond of reading Ved Purans, and had a great interest in studying Yoga, therefore he was a very spiritual kind of personality also. It is said that he was capable of meditating up to that level, from here he could easily go to the state of salvation. It is also said, that during the time of meditation, he could do time travel, and was capable of seeing the future. Having this power within him, he predicted it 50 years early only that Britishers will come to India and will take all the precious treasure of this country with them, that would affect the financial condition of this country to a very bad extent. But one day, when they will realize about the things that are encrypted in the Vedas and yoga of this country then they will come back and will give back all that treasure that they robbed from our country.

The only motive of Swami ji was to make famous all the thing that are written in Vedas in the world. He knew it very well that each and everything that is written Vedas has some relevance, and to spend their life well, each and every person should have a good knowledge of it.

During the time, when Swami ji was busy with the study of Vedas, one of the widely known Serbian-American Scientist, Nikola Tesla, was busy with finding some relation between energy and mass. After hearing about that, Swami ji showed a great interest over meeting Nikola Tesla, he related energy with a Sanskrit word ‘prana’, and matter to ‘akash’. He said, if Nikola Tesla would be relate these two things, then the words that are written in the Vedas will get some relevance. But after spending 10 longs years, still the Serbian-American scientist was unable to find the relation between the two, as a result of which Swami ji also went far away from this thought of finding the relation between energy and mass. And then Albert Einstein showed the relation between energy and mass in a research paper, in which he showed that both energy and mass can  linked to each other using a equation E=MC2. And this equation today is widely known by the name of Equation of Life, and there is no confusion between that we can also find this relation in Vedas and that too between Pran and Akash.

Swami ji is also well known for his power of remembrance. He used to issue a lot of books from the library and used to return them the very second day. One day the librarian got somewhat suspicious about Swami ji, therefore he asked Swami ji that what you do with these books, so he very politely replied that I read them with complete dedication. So, to test Swami ji, librarian took one book and asked him a question from a page, and Swami ji replied the correct answer to the librarian and that too with the page number. It also reflects the complete dedication of Swami ji.

If we judge him by his intelligence, then we will find out that Swami ji was a normal student, he never believed in scoring good marks, he only aimed at gaining knowledge, therefore during his B.A. also he was able to manage only 56% marks. His financial condition was also not good. After the sudden demise of his father, their financial health became worse, that sometimes they did not have anything to eat, and had to spent their day without eating anything, so to make her not feel guilty he used to satisfy her by saying that he will have something to eat at his friend’s resident, whereas there was nothing like that. He used to spend his whole day starving for food. He loved it telling all these things in his articles. This all show his generosity.

He was a B.A. degree holder, but after that also he was not able to find a job for himself. He used to tell everyone that he urgently needs a job. But after pleading a lot for the job also, no one hired him, and gradually he started losing faith over god.

Real name of Vivekananda was Vireshwar, that was given to him by his mother, and after sometime everyone started calling him by the name Narendranath Dutt. During his Vedic and Yogic studies, he found that everything is possible with the help of meditation. Meditation has such a strong power that with the help of it we can get any answer of the things that are going to happen in the future and also we can know what’s all going on at present. Gradually he started converting himself into a Sadhu and everyone started knowing him by the name ‘Vivekananda’. It is said that he got such and excellence in meditation, that he could tell anyone anything related to the time that’s going on.

There is one story famous about a herdsman and Swami ji. One day the herdsman was grazing his cow, and his cow lost in the dense forest. He went to swami ji and told him about his problem. Swami ji asked him only this, that where he saw his cow last time, and then he went to the state of his meditation and with the help of this power of meditation, he told him that where he will find his cow, herdsman followed him, and he got his cow.

Swami ji never believed in myths. He used to say whatever we do, we should know the reason for it, and he linked the same thing with the cat crossing the road, that if crossing of a road by a cow is a bad omen, then why is it so, what is the reason behind that. When people used to say him miraculous, he just had one thing to say, that, there is nothing like miracle. If you do not have faith in yourself, how you can have faith in God. God is within you.

Swamiji’s words were so motivational, that people found it very interesting and inspirational to hear him. He often used to say that human being should never harm his body, and he often did the same. That was the reason that during his good days, his own body became prone to diseases and he started felling ill. It is said that he was suffering from 31 diseases in total but there is no strong evidence regarding this. Swamiji predicted it many years ago, that he will die at the age of 40, and the same thing happened, at the age of 39, he took samadhi during the state of meditation.
