At the forefront of this eye-catching pack is the structure that debuted at the corner of Grand Avenue and West 1st Street in October 2003: we’re talking about the Walt Disney Concert Hall, of course, the silver-sailed wonder of architect Frank Gehry. , a world-famous destination that still inspires people to marvel at its seemingly odd geometry and sparkling dream of a design, nearly two decades later.

The famed cultural hub now has a brand new neighbor, the one making its official debut on Wednesday, July 6: Conrad Los Angeles, a luxury hotel designed by the innovative architect behind the concert hall to its immediate west.

“We are thrilled to expand Hilton’s presence on the West Coast with the launch of the first Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in California, one of our largest growth markets in the United States,” said Danny Hughes, Executive Vice President and President, Americas, Hilton.
