Jazmine Sullivan took the stage at an exclusive event last Wednesday as she geared up for Lollapalooza 2022. Stunning in a hot pink Sandro shirt and Stuart Weitzman heels, jazmine set the room on fire with a performance of his most popular songs, including “Bust Your Windows” and “Insecure.”
Speaking ahead of the gig, the ‘Pick Up Your Feelings’ hitmaker revealed he also got hot offstage.
In a bid to protect her vocal cords, the 35-year-old keeps the air conditioning turned off – something she admitted doesn’t always go well with her hair and makeup artists.
“I keep it warm, but mostly because I sing and I kind of keep it warmer for my vocals, so my vocal cords don’t dry out. I keep it like 75°F (24°C) or a bit more. I like it hot!” she smiled. “My glam squad gets mad at me because I keep it a little too hot and they sweat.”
JasmineOther travel must-haves include a kit of Aesop hand soap and bath products, and eucalyptus-scented candles. “I love the smell of eucalyptus. I always have candles lit at home, so it reminds me of that and also creates an inviting/comfortable environment,” the singer-songwriter noted.
jazmine also shared that she was invited to curate her own suite at the Kimpton Gray Hotel by IHG Hotels & Resorts.
One lucky IHG Rewards member will enjoy a luxurious five-night stay in a suite that includes everything jazmineTravel essentials from soothing scents to vegan snacks and immune-boosting juices.
“Travel is a natural part of my life, both for work and to experience new things,” she continued. “When I’m on the road, my hotel room is my sanctuary and a place of rejuvenation. I count on a space that is both comforting and creative to recharge my batteries. That’s why I was so drawn to collaborating with IHG Hotels & Resorts to bring my favorite parts of travel to life through my own curated suite. From the soothing scents we brought into the bedroom to what’s stored in the mini fridge, this suite is a little part of me that I can’t wait to share.
