A new Netflix franchise?
Featuring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, ‘The Gray Man’ tells the story of a mercenary whose identity no one knows who accidentally brings to light dark secrets of the CIA, an agency with which he collaborates. This leads one of his former colleagues to put a bounty on his head and launch a global hunt to find him.
Directed by the Russo Brothers, “The Gray Man” is based on a screenplay by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely and Joe Russo which was born called to be the start of a big new franchise for Netflix. For this reason, the platform did not hesitate to invest the trifle of 200 million dollars only in production costs.
Pay attention also to the rest of the cast, because in addition to Gosling and Evans we will also see Ana de Armas, Régé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard, Callan Mulvey or Michael Gandolfini. Unlike ‘Red Alert’, there’s an overdose of incentive here beyond the show’s big protagonists.
Netflix has only specified for the moment that we will see ‘The Gray Man’ in 2022being to specify the exact date.
